Television’s popular face Sheetal Thakkar on Jiji Maa
Sarabhai V/s Sarabhai, Kareena Kareena fame, Sheetal Thakkar has worked for many popular television shows and was last seen on Satrangi Sarural and Life OK’s Baazigar. She is soon going to make a new entry on Star Bharat’s show Jiji Maa. She will play the role of Maithili Sengupta, as a business rival to Uttara Devi.
Uttara is autocratic, Maithili is democratic. She asks everyone's opinion and believes in keeping her employees happy. Maithili will play the role of an Ideal boss, and the kind of boss everyone desires to have at their work place

Mother of a new born child, Sheetal took a long break from television and is back with a new appearance and a powerful look. The actress says, “I found the role of Maithili, different from a regular daily soap. Playing a powerful business woman yet humble and kind, which is exact opposite of Uttara Devi. We also did extensive trails on my look, which is rare. I enjoyed the entire experience on Jiji Maa, and was happy doing what I was doing.”
