Shalini Kapoor enters Prithvi Vallabh.

Shalini Kapoor has risen to fame for her phenomenal performances in several shows and as it seems there is no looking back for this talented actor. Shalini has joined the star cast of Sony Entertainment Television’s upcoming historical saga Prithvi Vallabh. The much-anticipated show has her playing one of the pivotal characters. Shalini will be seen essaying the role of Rajamata (mother of the king).

Shalini has already started shooting for the show and is extremely excited to be a part of the team. She believes that her role is different from all the others characters she has portrayed on the small screen before. She will be playing lead Ashish Sharma’s (Prithvi Vallabh) mother. According to the sources, Namik Paul who is portraying the role of Shiv, a spirit in the show will dare to bare for a special honeymoon sequence shot in Manali. What makes it more interesting is that the entire sequence has been shot at night in an icy cold temperature of the hill station. What’s more? The handsome lad will go shirtless and will be seen wearing bare minimum clothing! That is what we call a bold move!

Several interesting sequences will be shot in the coming days. The entire cast has already left for Manali and the shoot is in full swing. This sequence, in particular, will be an important part of the storyline and for the first time, the viewers will get to see the focus shifting to Namik’s character in the show.

American India Foundation (AIF) and Coca-Cola India launches ‘SMS Mission Recycling’ to Sensitize School Children on Waste Management and Recycling.

The program takes the success of SMS Mission 1000 to the next level by increasing the scope of positive impact to 11 lakh children in over 5000 schools

Coca-Cola India along with American India Foundation (AIF) today launched the SMS Mission Recycling with the aim to sensitize children from over 5000 schools on waste management after realizing a successful Support My School (SMS) Mission 1000 schools. The projectseeks to contribute towards the government’s cleanliness mission and will focus on proper collection and segregation of waste including Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET).

The SMS Mission Recycling initiativeaims to promote better waste management practices through adoption of efficientcollection and segregation methods to facilitate recycling. Aligned to the Government’s Swachh Bharat, Swachh Vidyalaya (Clean India Clean Schools) Mission, the programme will also be looking to setup or facilitate waste management systems in communities as well as schools.In the first phase of the program, Coca-Cola India has partnered with the American India Foundation (AIF) to positively impact an estimated 11 lakh children in over 5000 government schools nationwide and over 1 lakh community members on the long-term benefits of proper solid waste management.

Recently Ramdev Baba graced the set of Sony Entertainment Television’s biggest kids reality dance show Super Dancer Chapter 2. After a stunning performance of ‘Robotic Girl’ Muskaan Sharma, a real life robot came to visit her on set. Muskaan who was visibly surprised was keen to know what was happening.

The robot performed some cool robotic steps and imitated Muskaan’s style of dancing. To Muskaan’s surprise when the person removed the mask, it was none other than her father who surprised her all the way from Indore. Muskan Sharma who did not get a chance to meet her father since five months was overwhelmed to meet her father and broke down in tears.

The team of Super Dancer Chapter 2 had decided to surprise her with her father’s visit on the set of the show. Hence, her father entered dressed as a robot and shook a leg with her on stage. Muskaan Sharma who finally got a chance to meet her father couldn’t control her emotions and became teary eyed.

Source on the set revealed,” The bond between the father and the daughter never breaks. Muskan Sharma became teary eyed to finally meet her father after five months later rocked the stage in robotic style.

VaishnaviPrajapati has been impressing everyone with one after the other phenomenal performances on Super Dancer Chapter 2. The 5-year has not only received praises from Bollywood stars Rekha and RaveenaTandon, but this time she also entertained Baba Ramdev with her magical dance steps. Baba Ramdev was so impressed with her dance that he commented that only dedication, focus and hard work can turn someone into such a talented performer.

However, Vaishnavi not only received applauses from everyone including judges Shilpa Shetty, Anurag Basu and GeetaKapur, but had also planned a challenge for Baba Ramdev. Post Vaishnavi’s extraordinary performance, Baba Ramdev also had to perform aerial yoga and he did not miss the opportunity to inspire everyone. People present on set were awestruck to see how Baba could also climb the rope. Baba Ramdev’s act not only inspired Vaishnavi but everyone to keep working hard to achieve greater success.

Down Syndrome patient Devanshi Joshi wins NCPEDP-Mindtree Hellen Keller Award.

Employment of persons with intellectual disabilities need of the hour
Visit Gram Bharat in R.K. Puram, New Delhi, and you are greeted by a cheerful young lady.  Working as Store Assistant since 2013, Devanshi has created a special place in the hearts of her customers - her ‘fans’, who visit the store to meet her.

Devanshi has overcome challenges posed by Down Syndrome,  a genetic condition that leads to delayed physical growth and intellectual disability.  
Devanshi is a dream employee, responsible, reliable and respectful to customers and suppliers. Reflecting dignity of labour while helping her juniors learn new skills, and an eager learner herself, she remembers not just the product codes and prices but also the stock levels and reordering schedules.  As winner of the  NCPEDP-Mindtree Hellen Keller Award, Devanshi embodies the values of the award. 
Javed Abidi, Honorary Director of NCPEDP, “  The awards are given to exceptional individuals and organisations who have established themselves as role models in furthering employment opportunities for persons with disabilities. Devanshi’s success is important because India has not yet understood disability fully. For Indians disability has always meant only blind and wheelchair users. What about muscular dystrophy, leprosy, sickle cell anaemia, cerebral palsy, downs syndrome and dwarfism? When will India discover the neglected disabilties?”
Krishna Kumar Natarajan of Mindtree presided over the function. He said, "Mindtree is proud to support NCPEDP - given that all its work and its campaigns are aimed at creating an inclusive society for people with disabilities". He further added, "Cannot emphasise the importance of making websites accessible to make the digital ecosystem inclusive for persons with disabilities"

Chennai, December 5, 2017: Biology and pump technology are combined, when the two leading global players enter an open innovation collaboration to find new solutions to the world’s water challenges.
When you combine biotech with cutting-edge water technology, you might find new solutions to some of the most pressing global issues concerning water scarcity. Thereby, you can make a direct impact on the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal 6, aiming at securing universal access to water and sanitation by 2030.
This is the scope, when the world’s leading expert in enzymes and microorganisms, Novozymes, and Grundfos, the global leader in advanced pump technologies, enter an open innovation collaboration.
The partnership takes place on, an online universe launched by Novozymes in September 2017 where entrepreneurs, startups and others can connect with industry.
“This is a great opportunity. Partnering with Grundfos opens new possibilities for Novozymes, the HelloScience platform and its users. Until now, we have been able to connect the startups and academics, who are part of this network, with our knowledge about enzymes and microorganisms, and allowing them to use samples in their work, but now we can also connect them with Grundfos’ expertise in water treatment,” says Claus Crone Fuglsang, Senior Vice President, Research & Technology at Novozymes.
The two companies embark on their innovation voyage today. Four specific challenges will be posted online, allowing all in the HelloScience community to pitch their ideas on how to secure clean water for more people – and receive sparring, input and assistance from both Novozymes and Grundfos. The two companies seek solutions to remove polluting chemicals from water and improve cleaning of wastewater. That includes better filtering, less sludge, and recovery of phosphate, a precious nutrient, from wastewater.
“This is an excellent chance to see what we can do in combination with Novozymes. Adding biotechnology to what we can do in for instance digital dosing might very well open brand-new possibilities for e.g. water treatment. And while we strengthen our connection with Novozymes, we also get an opportunity to review fresh takes on the water challenges from all over the world. We need new partnerships to solve these great challenges, and this is another step down that road,” says Lars Enevoldsen, Group Vice President, Technology & Innovation at Grundfos.
